Company

 

To setup your company information in T-Boss, from the Edit Menu select Company. Or click the  icon and select Company.

 

 

Begin by entering information such as your company name, address, etc. Next insert your company logo by clicking on the browse button. Your company logo should be sized to 250 x 115 pixels. We recommend resizing your logo to these dimensions for printing purposes.

 

Profit Margin

 

Next select the profit margin tab.

 

 

The profit margin tab allows you to setup costs related to shop operations, which will be used when selecting “Show Profit Margin” from the Invoice/Quote screen. Below is a hypothetical example of how these values are calculated. You should configure these values to match the operations of your shop most accurately.

Edit according to your own values under the Edit - Company menu.
You only need to configure values according to a 1-Color print.
All additional colors will be automatically calculated for you.

 

 

Mail

 

Next select the “Mail” tab.

 

 

 

 

 

Your email settings are required when using the standard or bulk email options. Your SMTP setting is the name of your mail server. For example, mail.yourisp.com or smtp.yourisp.com. If you do not know your SMTP settings please contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) administrator. Finish by entering the username and password that you use to connect to your ISP. You can also opt to uncheck the “Include Inventory photos with Invoice/Quote” if you would not like a page generated showcasing the inventory items pertaining to the Invoice/Quote.

 

Other

 

Next select the “Other” tab.

 

 

This page allows you to setup default information such as default catalog, print matrix, etc. You also have the option of checking the “Maximize Windows” option which will auto expand the internal windows of T-Boss. Once your defaults have been configured these values will be selected every time you generate a new Invoice/Quote.

 

Customer Agreement

 

Finish by entering the customer agreement you have between your customers.
