Catalogs
In T-Boss you have the
option of editing a catalog, creating a new catalog, and generating pricelists
based upon your catalog of choice. To access the catalog view, from the Edit
menu select Catalogs. Or click the Edit Catalog
To edit an item from a
catalog choose a vendor from the drop down list and select the item to edit
from the list box below. For faster results you can type in a specific item in
the text box above the list box, or type in a specific item description from
the descriptions drop down list. Once the item has been selected you should see
the available item name, description, size(s), color(s), and prices in the
table below. To change the price values for an item simply click in the case,
dozen, or piece table box and enter you desired value. Remember if you are
changing any size values between XS-5XL be sure to enter those values in the
form of XS-XL-2XL-3XL-etc. Otherwise they will appear in the other column of
the Invoice/Quote screen. If the item does not relate to a value from XS-5XL go
ahead and enter what you feel is the best description for that size and that
value will appear under the other column. To add an image for items that show
“No Image Available” click the Add Image button to locate the image of your
choice. Catalog images should be approximately 75 x 75 pixels in size. Import CatalogCatalogs must be formatted to a specific format
before importing! If you would like a catalog formatted email it to us and “We”
will format if for you!
You have the option of automatically
downloading the major vendor catalogs from our server or performing a manual
import of catalogs that we have formatted for you. To import a catalog simply
click the Connect To Server button and click the catalog link to download the
catalog of your choice. You can also click Manual Import to manually import a
catalog from your local machine. Delete CatalogYou do not need to delete a catalog before importing
an updated catalog. To delete a catalog select
the vendor from the drop down list and click the Delete Catalog button. Add Remove ItemsTo add and remove items from
a catalog select the Add/Remove Items button.
When removing an item from a
catalog the item is not deleted from the catalog but set as inactive. This
means that the item will not appear in the list of available items when
creating an Invoice/Quote. At any time you can go back into the catalogs view
and re-activate the item to make the item appear. To add items to the catalog
enter the Style/Code in the appropriate text area and enter a brief description
for that item. Once you have entered the Style/Code and description click the
Add Item button to add the item to the in-active list box. To activate the
item(s) highlight the item(s) and click the >> button to move the item(s)
into the activated list box. Once complete click OK to return to the main
Catalog screen and begin adding details to that item. Simply click the Add Row
button to add additional size(s), color(s), and price(s) to the item. Generating Pricelists
Click the Generate Pricelist
tab to generate a pricelist. Pricelists are generated item by item, matrix by
matrix or both. The idea behind this is to generate customized pricelists
suited for specific customers or general pricelists tailored for events,
specials, etc. If you want a general package to give to current/potential
customers just generate pricelists of your most popular items with no
decoration(s) and pricelists of your most common matrixes. To generate a
pricelist select a vendor from the drop down list and select the product of
your choice. To view the item with no decoration charges, markup only, click
the Preview button. You should see the item picture, description, size(s),
price(s), in the window below. To add a decoration charge to the item click the
Add Print or Add Embroidery radio button and choose the matrix colors/thread
count of your choice. Click the preview button again to see the changes. Once
you have a pricelist tailored to your liking you have the option of adding the
pricelist in the current view to a zip file.
To add items to the list of
zip files click the Add To Zip button. When complete click the Build Zip button
to save the zip to your local machine or click the email button to
automatically add the zip file to the email client attachments folder. < Back |
